Daniel Unlocked #92. The conclusion and the next step.
As we have worked through Daniel’s prophecies, we have received an unfolding panorama of human history that has taken us to the threshold of eternity and there we have been encouraged to look beyond.
If Daniel is the most apocalyptic book in the Old Testament, Revelation fills that role in the New Testament. There is one caveat. Revelation draws heavily on the Book of Daniel including the stories it contains. So you are well prepared. The work we have done will give you a good understanding of this last, climatic book of the Bible. The books of Daniel and Revelation dovetail together in an amazingly complimentary way.
My SMS series, “Reflections on Revelation,” was first presented about 5 years ago. It was limited by the program I was using at the time for delivery. So it had to be short. It is a verse-by-verse journey through all 22 chapters. I have now updated and expanded it, and hopefully made it clearer and better. My son Jesse created a platform called “One80” that included a web site, so I no longer send the whole devotional to your phone, just a link to the web site. This allows me now to be more explicit and explanatory. In view of this I hope you will stay with me for the course of the series “Revelation Unlocked.” Your name will stay on the register unless you request to have it removed.
Most imporrtantly, you have a network of friends, family and associates that you could invite to be part of it by either passing their name to me (with their permission please) or starting your own network that you pass the “Revelation Unlocked” devotionals on to. The later is the better option because it reduces the numbers on my system and the risk of being classified by telstra as spam.
The ominous storms clouds of the end seem to be gathering, and the information in Revelation is timely and crucial – especially the second half that deals with end times. (The frst part is history). Please join me in this evangelistic endeavor as we, together, help prepare the world for the Second Coming.
